Customers earn points when they are assigned to a ticket or invoice that gets completed. The number of points earned depends on how you have configured your program.

We currently support points per dollar and points per visit or a combination of the two. The example below demonstrates a rewards program of 1 point per dollar spent with 0 points per visit.

Earning Points

  1. Add a customer to a ticket. here is a link if you need a refresher on how to add customers.

  2. Complete a transaction as normal. In the example, we find an item, use a custom payment method, and complete the transaction. You will likely scan items and use a normal payment method such as cash or credit card.

  3. Once a transaction is complete, the customer's points and rewards will be updated. The point balance in the status bar will be highlighted to indicate that our service has updated the customer's balance. A note will be added to the Dashboard tab of the customer's detail view detailing how many points were earned and the transaction number. Lastly, the new information will be available on the Info tab of the customer's detail view.
