  1. Go to app.readysetretail.com and sign in with your username and password.

  2. Click on “Purchasing” in the navigation menu and select “Reorder Point Plans.” This page will show all of the current Reorder Point Plans that were previously made.

  3. Click “Add Reorder Point Plan” to create a new plan.

  4. Give a name to your plan.

  5. Use the Location filter, Vendor filter, and the Item filter to narrow down the items that will have Reorder Points calculated. All the Heartland Retail default fields and any custom item fields that have been created will appear in the filters’ options. Each filter line can only accept one value. To filter on multiple values, you will need to add single or group conditions and use the Any/All dropdown to get the results you want. Learn more about filters in “Using Reorder Point Plan Filters”

  6. Set the parameters for the calculation period. This will use Last x weeks, Min weeks, Max weeks, Curve type, Multiplier, Minimum qty, Adjustment qty, and Lead time in weeks. Learn more about these parameters in “Setting Reorder Point Plan Parameters.”

  7. Check the “Auto Exclude Markdowns” box if you want the plan to set the Reorder Point and Target Qty to 0 for any items where the Original Price is greater than the Current Price.

  8. If you would like to have the Reorder Point Plan run weekly, select the “Autorun” box, then select the day of the week and the time to run. You can set the date and time using the “Day of week” and “time to run (Eastern Time)” fields. Due to errors with Heartland Retail, setting the time to 7:00 AM will not allow the utility to work.

  9. You can run the plan on demand at any time by clicking the “Queue for Processing” button at the bottom of the page after saving.

  10. If you would like to disable any Reorder Point Plan, you can unselect the “Is Active” checkbox.
