Scheduled Report feeds are used to send previously saved reports to you through FTP or email on a schedule you set.

  1. Go to app.readysetretail.com and sign in with your username and password.

  2. Click on “Utilities” on the top navigation bar and click “data feeds”

  3. On this screen, you will see all other feeds that were set up in the past. At the bottom of the page, you can add a new Report Feed.

  4. After clicking the "Add Report Feed" button, you will be brought to a new page with the header of "Data Feed". Name your feed and select a source connection.

  5. From the drop-down menu, choose what you want your report feed to give back to you. When the report feed runs, it will connect to Heartland Retail to run the saved report with its current filters, groups metrics, etc. Any changes made to the report after creating the Report Feed will be included in the results of the report. .

  6. Next, select either a PDF or Excel file format. This will be the file format of the report that will be sent to you either by FTP or by email, whichever you choose.

  7. If you want the file to be sent by email, select the “send via email” checkbox and put in at least one email address you would like the file to be sent to.
    If you want the file to be sent by FTP, and you have an FTP connection set up, select the checkbox that says, “Send via FTP” and choose your FTP connection you would like the utility to use.

  8. From the drop-down menu, set the frequency you would like reports to be sent. This can be every 30 minutes, every one or two hours, daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

  9. Set the time of day (Eastern Time) you want your report to be sent. Due to backend errors with Heartland Retail, setting this to 7:00 AM (Eastern Time) will not allow this utility to run, so make sure you pick a different time.

  10. After clicking save, you can go back into the report by clicking on the name you set.


    This will allow you to edit any settings you want to change in the future. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can manually run the report by clicking on the “queue for processing” button. Make sure that the box for "Is Active" is checked, otherwise the report won't send. You should get the file shortly after.
