Reason Codes can be used at either your point of sale or for inventory adjustments, and codes can be created and customized to the individual needs of your store.
To find where your Reason Codes are, go to settings in your Heartland account.
Scroll down and click on “Reason Codes” in the menu on the side.
On this screen you'll see reason codes sorted into the categories Inventory, or Sales/POS, and clicking on any one of them will show you the various reason codes you have set up for your store.
